”Unsafe - Parking Scam”
The hotel management here rents out parking spots to non-hotel guests and tries to force hotel guests to park around the corner on the street. I was told by a local police officer that this scam then includes a late night visit to your vehicle by an 'unaffiliated' third party who may or may not take an interest in your vehicle and your belongings inside. As a result, upon returning to the hotel with my family in the early evening, and being told that parking had filled up from arriving hotel guests - it was clear the vehicles were not owned by guests and instead by local businesses - I thought it safer to gather my belongings and drive a couple hours back to LA. If you can avoid staying at this hotel I would highly suggest it. I will say the room was extremely clean, that being said I never ended up using the bed or shower.

”A pleasant stay at a reasonable cost...”
I was concerned about the hygiene and security of the facility after reading the other reviews. When we arrived at the hotel, they informed us that there had been an error on our reservation, and they were quick to assist us with our family's rooms. This was a last-minute vacation to San Diego, and I was quite pleased with the hotel's price and cleanliness.
